Edward Baugh is Professor Emeritus of English, UWI, Mona. He holds the degrees of BA Hons. (London: UCWI, 1957), MA (Queen’s University, Ontario, 1959), PhD (University of Manchester, 1964). He was awarded the Hon. D.Litt. by the UWI in 2010.
He has published three books of poetry: A Tale From the Rainforest (!988), It Was the Singing (2000) and Black Sand (2013). His books of biography and criticism are:
